Thanks for the comment. The Bates Leathers are even older than the 1983 BMW. The design is mine, the durable construction is theirs. If you ever find yourself in Colorado, look me up. Thanks for the comment. I love the old Beemer too. It's a one owner, 60th anniversary edition R100RT. I purchased it new in April 1983 at Vista Kawasaki/BMW in Nashville, Tennessee. As evidenced by my willingness to take it on a 3000K trip over a 3 day weekend, it runs as well as it did when it was new. If you ever get to Colorado, look me up.
