    Leathers might not be required. I used to run there with the Aerostitch, so if he has a good motorcycle jacket, with padding,
    and leather pants, then he should be ok, unless they changed the rules....

    Actually in the many years of riding I have done here in Japan, I have seen one crashed X4.
    But typically one V-Max on its side or bent forks about every second year. I have not seen
    a crashed...
