Thread: New Ride. Ducati Diavel

    Greetings,

Perhaps you can help me. Someone suggested that Tuneboy’s ECU engine management system would be able to fix a lighting issue that I am having with my Ducati Diavel.

I own a U.S. spec Diavel with solid red break lights and red turn signals. I recently moved to the U.K. and their laws require that the turn signals be amber in color.

I have purchased the Diavel Euro Spec lights from Ducati, however they will not work with my U.S. spec ECU. And now Ducati is saying that they have to remap my computer (£600).

If I purchase the Tuneboy product for my motorcycle will it allow my break lighting to be reprogramed and work with the Euro Lights?

    Regards,

    Ken

Your indicators don't work because of your ignition system. That makes a lot of sense.

go over to the diavel forums. A few people have changed the red turn signals to orange (for preference reasons) they will be able to tell you how to do it. I think tune boy might be able to do it if you install an EU spec map.

This is such a cool bike. It really does look like it road right out of the pages of Akira. When I was trying to figure out what bike to get recently I was swayed by the Diavel. I didn't ride one, but I did sit on one. It was very comfortable, and for a moment I seriously considered it. Then I remembered that I'm a sport bike rider. ;)
