    Default crf250l suspension upgrade advice

The forks on my new CRF250L keep bottoming out even though my "jumping" really, really requires those quotes.

( I am fat, I get it. And I don't know how to ride. It's tragic)

Any recommendations for an affordable upgrade?

    Thank you, guys.

Do they have adjusters on the CRL? Try winding them to the hardest setting, compression is usually on the top of the forks, rebound at the bottom, but not sure about the CRL. more oil, heavier springs, revalve (in expense order).

    Thanks for the reply.

The rear preload can be adjusted but the front is a no-go afaik.

I'll have to find a garage because official dealers have not made a great impression on me this far.

Anyone knows a good shop in the Nagoya-Toyota area?

Itomo are very good, especially offroad.

They run a race team and I know the owner so it will be in good hands there. How heavy are you? I'm 85kgs and with MX bikes I'm just on the limit as they are made for the Euro/US market. Many Jap riders go for softer springs and settings.

My weight is just shy of that... except on weekends and holidays, like a business, when the troops are set loose.

I've been by the Itomo shop a couple of times while urban hiking. It's far from where I am (Nisshin) and I would have to ride there. I'll have the wife call them up and see what's what.

    Thanks for all the help.
