    Default 2017 Tokyo Toy Run

Just getting this out there as we are about two months away from the dates we would normally do the Toy Run in December. As always, I'll help where I can but could use support from the usual suspects who call and lock dates with organizations. I'd suggest we do it as early as possible in the month to avoid conflcit with the Shonan Marathon.

Yes, it's time to get the ball rolling.

Anything back from Chigasaki on dates? I believe Antkiller has us locked in on the 10th at Sanders.

Hey all, Jav got be access, so I've put the event on FaceBook for the FBers. I'll try to actually use the page over the next month then :) I've got a few other places to put bits, and get the guidelines and tips page together in E, J and P(ortugese).

Here's the plan for the Toy Run this year, 10 December:

8 AM - Gather Ebina Service Area (south), Tomei Expressway

9AM - Depart Ebina Service Area

Please bring a present for the kids, possibly two if you can carry them, one for each home.

If you have any questions, ideas or suggestions please post.

Hey folks. Can anyone just show up at Ebina SA with presents and join in? Unfortunately, I have no Santa costume.

/Also, is there an age range we should aim for with presents? And are we limited to two presents? I have a friend who wanted to give, but he canít ride.

    Hi MapleKiltedSumo,

Of course, anyone can join in Ebina :)
It's not mandatory to have a Santa costume to participate, don't worry, although most people will wear a costume or at least a hat. If you want, you can check ドンキホーテ for Christmas gear, but that shouldn't prevent you from participating.

Kids' age varies from a few years old to 18, as they leave when they complete high school.

There is no limit in the number of presents that you can bring!

All, I've posted a wiki page here on the forum - has the same details pretty much as the FaceBook page:

Sorry, folks, one more question. Is there any chance I could get the handout on locations ahead of time so I can join the convoy when you all come off the highway? I'm coming down the Kenodo from Sagamihara, so going to southbound Ebina SA is kind of a back-to-front route for me.

(I sent a message to the Facebook group, too, but wanted to try here just to make sure I can get the details before Sunday. Sorry for doubling up.)

That's my plan. Thanks very much. Bit chilly out there today though so I'm going to aim for early and bring a couple of cans of coffee to warm up with.
