Ducati Sport Tourismo, 1997 model 44,400kms.

    Classic Ducati 90 degree v-twin, fuel injection, dry-clutch sport-tourer.

Shaken until end of May 2019.

    Easy start, runs well.

This is a Ducati dry-clutch bike with all the character that implies, but it is reliable and comfortable enough that I commute on it when the weather is good.
Great for touring, I have taken this on 1,000km weekend rides on twisty roads and motorways. (You might have seen me at the Twistybutt Coast to Coast rides).
Great for two-up touring with luggage, or a spirited day trip to the mountains for the twisty roads, with a smooth cruise back on the freeway.
This is the model that started the genuine sport-touring class of motorcycle.

The bike is available to view and test ride (at my discretion) at my home; nearest stations are Shirokane-Takanawa and Hiroo.

I am sad to see this go, but I am leaving Japan at the end of the year, so I must sell it.

    ETC unit wired in (switched)
Zumo 660 navi, with cradle and GPS antenna wired in (not switched).
12 volt socket under the seat.
Jumper cables wired to the battery, accessible under the seat.
Clip on Givi tank bag and mounting ring (I can remove this if you donít want it).
80% or more left on the tyres.

Serviced by Tony (Fastbike) at Classic & Sports.

Upgrades (reversible if you prefer fully original):
Ducati original Non-Fango hard-case luggage. Lockable and easily detachable, like suitcases.
    Carbon fibre Termignogi exhaust pipes.
Triton ECU chip for more power, smoother running and elimination of flat-spot at 4,000 rpm.
Open clutch cover, for the classic Ducati dry-clutch sound.
Fairings from 1998 model (non-brittle plastic and sound absorbing internal padding).
Comfort seat from a later model ST4.
Shorai battery, for fast and easy start.
    HID headlight.

    Recently Replaced:
    Front wheels bearings.

Weather is holding up, nice and sunny. Why not buy this and go for a ride?
