Do you really think you'll need heated gear for the Ironbutt?

This morning it was great to feel warm, when out feeding my Bull Terrier. It was like the weather was beckoning
me to get on a bike, forget work and ride.

Fitted some aftermarket bars to the 999 last Sunday and between those and the new mirrors it is a much nicer
    bike to ride.

Speaking of Honda Carbs....My Main Jet is a bit too small I fgure on the 110...Any reccomendations? The transition from Pilot to main is abrupt.....In the wrong way! It gets less power when it goes from pilot to main...I mean power wheelies on the pilot and then Putt putt when I get moving...

    Have you tried to raise the needle? PJ = 0 - 1/4 throttle, needle = 1/4 - 3/4 throttle, MJ = 3/4 - full throttle. needle clip position effects 1/8 - 1/2 throttle
    Could also check float height

I'm sort of ready. I got my ETC card from Citibank, I'm getting the unit done in a couple of weeks. In the summer I have Sha Ken and insurance to sort out. Aside from that, should be good to go.

19 Degrees and sunny today, perfect. Was out harvesting oranges yesterday and sweating like a pig, perfect. Can't wait to ride today, maybe only one jacket. I love summer. Coming from Michigan, one would think I am used to the cold but I hate it.

Been out every day the last two weeks, riding to work even on the snow days! Roads are dry now, but temp only gets up to 13C on a hot day. It's about 0 every morning when I go ou the door. Down jackets and a fleece neckwarmer and I'm on my way! Thinking of pulling out the sporty next month for a ride/camp down in Izu. Looking to relocate somewhere warmer after 10 years of shovelling snow! Any suggestions?

The ride in this morning was great - hard to believe that just two weeks ago we were having snowstorms and sub zero temperatures...

I am so ready for spring but trying not to get too pumped up. It happens every year, the nice weather comes and I get one or two good rides in, then it turns to shit for the next month and just crushes my spirits. I really hope it just keeps getting better and better from here on out.

Yeah, it was so beautiful yesterday I rearranged my schedule and went for a 2 hour spin down to the shore; thin gloves, light jacket, warmed the engine up properly, smelt the oil for the first time since last year, it was GREAT!
